2 Fun Party Ideas

If you pride yourself on coming up with some of the most creative ideas for the parties that you host and are in need of a bit of fresh inspiration, don’t worry, you’ve come to the right place. Simply continue reading to discover two fun party ideas that your party guests are sure to love.

2 Fun Party Ideas:

A trivia party:

If your friends and family members are competitive, it’s well worth organizing a trivia party. Throughout the night, have short 10-minute trivia rounds about different topics such as sports, entertainment, history, geography, and music, and at the end of the night crown one individual or a team as the trivia champion. However, don’t feel pressured to stick to traditional topics as you can create topics to suit your crowd. For instance, if your friends are gamers you may want to have an eSports or Fortnite round.

You could even have a round where you play snippets of well-known songs and have your contestants guess what song is playing and who the artist is. Or to print out face swap images of celebrities and get your contestants to guess which two celebrities feature in each photo. Don’t be afraid to get creative with your ideas. Just be sure to purchase a small but fun gift for your winner, such as a restaurant voucher. Simply tailor your prize to your friends’ interests. So that your friends will actually get use out of the prize which you select.

A cruise ship themed party:

You may want to send your friends party invites that look like cruise ship tickets and to play cruise ship-themed party games during your party. For example, you may want to run a couples challenge where two couples are selected to compete in a head-to-head game to see which couple knows more about each other. Simply write a list of questions and have each individual write down how they think their partner will answer the question on a small, portable whiteboard.

For example, one question could ask your contestants where they first met and another question could ask them what their partner’s favorite ice cream flavor is. You can also organize other cruise ship-themed games such as the limbo. This particular party idea is ideal if you have a pool in your backyard. As you’ll be able to run pool games as well such as water volleyball and to have your guests race across your pool on inflatable pool floats.

When it comes to serving food, you may want to set up a cruise ship style buffet which different cuisines from around the world. Such as nachos and guacamole, pizza, and dumplings.

When it comes to attire for your party, have your guests dress as if they are guests on a cruise ship or are a captain or sailor on a cruise ship. Lastly, one neat touch to add to your party is to have a backdrop of a cruise ship for your guests to pose in front of for photos.

So if you want to surprise your friends and family with fun new party themes, it’s well worth organizing both a cruise ship themed party and a trivia-themed party in the near future.
